High Falls: Sharks in the River?

On this episode of Savage South we visit High Falls State Park on the Towaliga River. High Falls hosts the biggest waterfall south of Atlanta. In 2017 a fisherman reportedly caught a bull shark at the base of the falls by the old powerhouse ruin. Some things we learn about during this episode: history of High Falls, the Fall Line, gnats, the water boatman (loudest animal on Earth?), alligators, and bull sharks. We also consider the importance of wonder and staying in the moment.
